Building Cleaning Schedule

This checklist shows the regular cleaning tasks completed in each building.

Move-Out Checklist

When you decide to move out, please follow this checklist so everything is clear and the apartment is left in good condition.

  1. Give proper notice (N9 form)
    • Complete the Termination of Tenancy – N9 Form.
    • Send the N9 through Building Stack at least 60 days before your move-out date (aligned with the end of a rental period).
    • Rent remains payable until the effective date shown on the N9.
  2. Return all keys, fobs and remotes
    On your move-out day, leave the following in the top kitchen drawer:
    • Building entrance keys
    • Apartment keys
    • Storage / locker keys
    • Mailbox keys
    • Garage remote or fob (if applicable)
    Missing keys or remotes may result in replacement charges.
  3. Cancel or transfer your utilities
    Contact your providers to cancel or transfer service effective on your move-out date:
    Electricity – Hydro One, Carma or Embrun Hydro (depending on your building).
    Hot water tank – Reliance or Vista Services (depending on your building).
    Please refer to the Utilities & Services section for your building to confirm which companies apply to you.
  4. Internet / TV – Rogers or other provider
    • Cancel or transfer your internet/TV service.
    • If you have a Rogers Smart Community modem, return it to the nearest Rogers store. Unreturned equipment may result in a replacement fee (approximately $150) charged by Rogers.
  5. Empty storage and parking area
    • Remove all personal belongings from your storage locker (if applicable).
    • Clear your parking spot of all items (boxes, shelves, tires, etc.).
  6. Clean the apartment
    Please leave the unit clean and free of personal items, including:
    • All garbage and recycling removed from the unit, balcony and storage.
    • Fridge emptied and wiped (shelves & drawers).
    • Stove, oven and range hood cleaned.
    • Kitchen cabinets and counters wiped.
    • Bathroom (toilet, tub/shower, sink, mirrors) cleaned.
    • Floors swept and washed / vacuumed.
    • Balcony or patio swept and cleared of items.
    Please do not patch or paint walls without written permission. Normal nail holes are acceptable; larger damage may result in repairs being charged back.
  7. Provide a forwarding address
    • Share your forwarding mailing address and an updated email so we can send any final documents and, if applicable, adjustments or receipts.
  8. Move-out inspection (if required)
    • Management may contact you to schedule a short move-out inspection to review the condition of the unit.
